Jason William Hait: A Life in Words

"Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow... Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.”
- Kurt Vonnegut, A Man Without a Country
(Vonnegut was among Jason's favorite writers.)
WELCOME
Jason Hait was a bright, inquisitive and caring soul who died way too young. He also was a gifted writer and poet. As his wife, I wanted to create a place to keep his memory alive by sharing his beautiful words. Included herein are various personal works as well as class assignments.
(Note: Under the "Poems" tab, there are four separate pages.)
I hope that, in reading Jason's carefully written words, you hear his distinct voice and recall his extraordinary mind, heart and soul.
